Laureen’s Bio
I grew up in Atlanta and moved to Dunedin with my family about 5 years ago. I love the beach, the outdoors and wanted a better quality of life. My professional background is in healthcare management for physician practices. Currently, I work as a remote manager for a physician practice in Atlanta.
My past experience as a care companion was taking care of my elderly parents in my home in Atlanta and moving them here with me. My mother had diabetes, history of strokes and dementia. My dad was in the beginning stages of dementia. Both mom and dad are deceased now. Recently, I have helped a 92 year old woman with transportation to doctor visits. Also, I travel to NC to visit and help with my mother-in-law who has moderate dementia.
I am a very personable, approachable person and have a passion for caregiving. I enjoy being a companion to help people stay at home where they are most comfortable.
