Kate’s Bio
In 2011, I attended college and completed a Certified Nursing Assistant and was state certified December 2011.
I have worked in private homes and assisted living facilities.
In 2017, I volunteered at local animal shelters and ended up adopting a dog that was surrendered by an elderly owner do to terminal illness. I then assisted in his and later certification as a trained
Certified Service Animal .
He is a small breed topping out at 17 pounds, therefore his assistance abilities are more specialized in the Morale Boosting and Emotional Support areas. We work currently work with an assist the elderly that suffer from Alzheimer’s, anxiety and severe depression challenges. We have all documentation approving his permission to travel and visit all public places honoring “Service Animals” outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act .
