I started working with people with special needs in 2004 at a place called Tallahassee Developmental Center located in Tallahassee Florida because I needed a job. I didn't quit know what i was getting into but I enjoyed the fact that I were able to help someone that couldn't help themselves. Working with people with disabilities you become a part of their family. I love being a caregiver because it makes my day go by knowing I were able to make a difference in someone life. I feel that i am good at my job because I try to treat others as though I will want them to treat me. I feel I'm good at my job because I do my best to make them feel special, acceptable by others and wanting to live. I go over and beyond for those I care for dearly. I'm good at my job because most of my clients request for me to work with them before choosing another caregiver.
