My mother was an HHA and I couldn't help but fall in love with the profession. My professional experience has been as a teacher for the past ten years, from preschool to high school. I have worked as a care companion in between for several years. Young, old, or in between, I am a people person! Not to mention I grew up with horses, chickens, goats, turtles, rabbits, and a dog, so I'm pretty comfortable around animals too. I am a mother and I have a pet rat named Ham, or HamButt if you ask my son. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified and am currently earning my bachelors degree in business.
