I am a recent graduate of a practical nursing school from OTech. I have my CPR training. I did my clinicals at Avante and Terrace of Kissimmee nursing homes. First we were trained as cnas .so I know how to assist with the ADL's, getting a patient out of bed, bathing them, making a bed with a patient in the bed.also feeding patients. We learned about how to give meds,and the types of medications and how to check vital signs. We gave insulin shots and checked blood sugars. We learned how to care for patient overall and knowing when something were off or not right.
