I am an registered nurse with my B.S.N. I am actively licensed in Florida and Michigan. Most recently I was the instructor for the certified nursing program at Pasco High school. I taught there for three years and loved teaching the students how to become knowledgeable and caring CNA’s. My mother had dementia and lived with me and my husband and two children for 8 years. I was her sole caregiver and found out the hard way how difficult it is to care for an elderly family member. I had no one except my husband to help with my mother’s care and we both were working at the time.

I went into nursing because I love to take care of others. I became very empathetic to the plight of family caregivers trying to take care of their loved ones at home. While teaching and at the nursing clinicals in hospitals and nursing homes, I heard time and again from family members, how difficult it was for them to get people who cared and were trustworthy to care for their family members. It broke my heart. I want to give excellent care to the elderly. I feel for them- they deserve excellent and attentive care everyday. They deserve to feel loved and important. I currently have extra time on my hands and want to help fill this hole in the system that is so desperately needed. I will treat your family members as I part of my own family.
