I have worked as a Care Companion for almost 2 years. It was a side job to working at a preschool as a VPK lead teacher. I love to sit and listen to the stories and wisdom they share. I enjoy bringing peace of mind and happiness to them from just being around and helping with house chores. I don’t mind accompanying them to doctor appointments, grocery store trips, pharmacy trips, and other errands. I can even run to the store myself while they stay home and relax. I do not mind cooking or assisting with meal prep/cooking.
