Hi - My name is Kim.........I have over 20 years experience in the medical field. I have worked at the Veterans Hospital in New York and also as a Companion Caregiver. My jobs have included bathing, shaving, brushing teeth. Preparing meals, housekeeping, laundry, feeding, physical therapy. Had to handle feeding tubes, colostomy bags, catheters, oxygen and concentrators, suctioning the mouth and throat. Helped with doing crafts and staying active. Put up and administered meds. Kept logs of input, medicine received, daily activities, output and overall daily responses. Cared for people with Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinson, mentally challenged, physically handicapped and blind.
My purpose for caring for people is to give them the best quality of life I can.
