I’ve used Karina several times and have appreciated her help in the past. I also understood when she had to cancel due to genuine family emergencies. However, I was disappointed when she canceled a scheduled morning job just before midnight the night before, citing personal reasons that were not an emergency but rather a personal preference. This left me with less than a few hours to find backup care—which I was ultimately unable to do.

As a result, I had to rearrange my own schedule and spend over two hours driving to take my child to camp and back. While I understand that unexpected situations can arise, canceling on such short notice without a true emergency is extremely disruptive and inconsiderate to a family’s planning.

Reliability is crucial in childcare, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of that expectation.

My kids absolutely love Karina! She’s very down to earth, punctual, and beyond amazing! She calls day of the babysitting to confirm. She likes to get to know the family and the kids to see what activities are appropriate for them and their needs. I have two boys, and my oldest has ADHD and she’s very patient with him and communicates well with him. They love all the crafts she makes with them. Definitely recommend her!

Karina has been an absolute blessing for my family and I feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. I had to coordinate periodic care for my stepmom with dementia as my dad is her sole caregiver. Our family completely trusts Karina who genuinely cares for her and consistently goes above and beyond. She is compassionate, thoughtful, punctual, and a great communicator. I only wish I could clone her to care for another family member in another city!
