I have been helping to care for my aunt, who had dementia. My mother and I helped provide care for several years, from mid to late-stage, until she went to a memory-care unit. I also provide occasional care for a neighbor.
I have a reliable mini-van (and a clean driving record) should your loved one like to go to lunch, movies, or to the park. Does your loved one enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles and playing board games? So do I! While I'm no chef, I can certainly prepare what you have in the fridge.
I am certified in first-aid, CPR/AED, and Basic Life Support. I am very good if emergencies arise.
I don't smoke, vape, or drink alcohol, and for my own health, will not work in a home if others smoke. I have passed background checks on two sites, this one included. I am up-to-date on important vaccines, including flu, Covid, shingles, and Tdap.
I am only looking for occasional care situations, as I also have baby-sitting clients. I can provide overnights, if needed. Especially if you need a weekend getaway. Also, I love friendly pets!
