Jamie’s Bio
I am a 29 year old mother of an almost 3 year old. I have an upbeat, friendly personality. I tend to get along with everyone. I love working with people, especially the elderly and children . I Since a very young age I had to take care of my mother. As I got older I was often told by the doctors and hospital staff (wherever my mother was admitted at that particular time) how great of a job I did with her. How I was strong yet gentle when moving her or bandaging her, and how the room would light up when I walked in. Being the only girl in a house of 7, at home was extraordinarily tough, yet powerfully humbling. I did most of the housework myself; dinner, pack school lunches, laundry, cleaning the house, just helping with everything I could. After I graduated high school I went into retail sales for quite a long time while still maintaining care for my mother and her house.
I have made it an effort to dedicate my life to helping those unable to help themselves. There are too many sad stories of negligence/abuse on the elderly and young children. I know I can help improve someone’s quality of life and make a difference in their happiness so please give me a chance to show you!
