Currently working for a sweet lady with Alzheimer's on weekends. I am retired and was a full-time loving caregiver for seven years for my mother. She was in a wheelchair and had a touch of dementia. Thoroughly enjoyed caring for her, from medication management, doctor appointments, companionship, bathing and what ever else I could do to maker her more comfortable. She loved going to Port Canaveral on the gambling boat and play the slot machines.
My mother is no longer with us and I would welcome taking care of your loved one. Enjoy their company, listening to stories and holding their hand. Take them to doctor appointment, do errands and what ever else may strike their fancy.
