My first job was at a K-8th grade charter school. I was an After school Counselor and a Camp director during the season breaks. I loved being with the kids, they kept me on my feet and were also so caring. My group that I mainly looked after were ages 5-7 years old. I then started to work at a life skills center that taught daily life skills, educational skills, culinary skills, etc. I am also a care giver to the same company but in their group homes. I just love caring for others and watching after others. Being there for an individual who just needs care and companionship. I had great relationships with my clients, and co-workers, I treat everyone how i would want to be treated and/or my family members, and soon it will start to feel like they are my actual family and that’s what I love. You spend quite an amount of time with someone and build bonds that you won’t forget.
