I am a Christian woman with a good work ethic, reliable transportation, and a willingness to help others. I am looking for a part-time position to earn extra money to help out with household expenses. I have a BA degree in Studio Arts from the University of West Florida (2008). Many years ago, I spent 2 years in nursing school (IUSB in South Bend, Indiana 1997) and I worked as a CNA/Wound Care Technician at Albany Healthcare in Albany, GA (1999). I have always enjoyed working with children and the elderly in a nurturing/caregiving role. I cared for my mom, who had Alzheimer's Disease, for a year in our home (2015), and then I took care of her again during the end stages of her disease (2019-2021). She lived in our home with us, and I was her full-time 24/7 caregiver until she passed in July of 2021. My mom, Sue, was wheelchair-bound and needed full assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, positioning, and receiving her medications. Prior to taking care of my mom full-time, I worked part-time as a caregiver/companion to a sweet Pensacola local who could no longer stay home alone while her family was at work (2018). I am a happily married mother of two girls, ages 11 and 12, who attend PCA and are in the 6th and 7th grades. (I had my first child at age 40!) In the past, I volunteered in the Olive Baptist Church nursery and have been a member of Olive Baptist Church since 2007. I have mainly been a stay at home mom since 2010, but I have an excellent work history and am able to provide good references upon request. Thank you for considering me!
