I have worked with after school programs at Polk City Elementary. I also worked at a Christian Daycare in Lakeland, Florida. I have cared for elderly in their homes, and taken them to doctors appointments, picked up medications and made sure they are taken correctly. I love to cook. I adore children and elderly equally. I have gone to classes at Polk County College for Childcare, became certified. I also took CPR classes, along with First Aid. I am mother of two grown sons, helped raise several step daughter’s. I am happy to say I am proud grandmother of many. I am a leader, very organized. As to my career, I owned several of my own successful businesses. Being retired is very isolating. I would just like to have a part-time position that is rewarding to both parties.
