I began my career in 1983 as an elementary teacher. After 10 years, I took a break to raise my children. I reentered the job market as a special ed teacher in high school. I recently sold my restaurant that I owned and operated for five years.
Enjoy working with children and older adults. In 1987, I moved back home with my mother to care for my father who had stage five brain cancer. In 2018, my mom moved from Florida to be closer to me. Unfortunately, she suffered a stroke and spent her final year in a nursing home. I would visit her several times a week.
