About 12 years ago my parents were both diagnosed with terminal illnesses, eventually leaving them unable to care for themselves. My father suffered from terminal lung cancer and my mother was diagnosed with a rare form of early onset alzheimers. I continued to care for them for many tears until my father ultimately passed away and my mother had to enter an adult living facility where she could receive around the clock monitoring and medical care. Caring for someone who needs assistance requires you to be a very compassionate, patient, loving, and understanding person and this is the type of person that I am. I truly enjoy helping others and making peoples lives better.
