I love working with older adults because I believe they have so much to share with the younger generations. I have previous experience working in assisted living and nursing home environments in the recreation departments. My main focus has been Alzheimer's and Dementia, giving me the experience to deal with a variety of individuals with many different behaviors.

I am also a certified CTRS (Recreational Specialist). With this degree I look to better the life of those I am working with, including but not limited to: spiritual, physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. I constantly try to find new things to do, new ways of viewing the world, and challenge individuals to stay as active and independent as possible. I always strive to go above and beyond what is needed.
