I started working in this field in 2005 for a intermediate care facility, so I have 18 years of experience. I have a bachelors degree in education and I am the program coordinator for an ICF fulltime throughout the week. I love working with individuals and teaching. I am CPR First Aid and AED certified ( I have used them in real life to save a life). I am certified in Professional Crisis Management practitioner 2, which is recertified every year. This is training on how to prevent and de-escalate problem behaviors. My favorite activities are taking people with special needs on trips, I have taken groups on cruises and to vacations in Orlando. I have worked with medically fragile, non-verbal, people who use a wheelchair, people with bachelors degrees them selves and some IQ's under 20. I know basic sign language for functional activities and some communication apps on android and apple.
