Hi, I’m Elissa. Being a caregiver is something that comes naturally to me—I’ve always been the kind of person who steps in when someone needs support. I was the sole caregiver for my mother-in-law for almost two years while she was physically and mentally disabled, and I’ve cared for her on and off for over 15 years. That experience taught me a lot about patience, advocacy, and the emotional side of caregiving. I’ve also worked in healthcare, raised three kids, and spent years helping others through substitute teaching and tutoring. I’m CPR and First Aid trained, calm under pressure, and very attuned to people’s needs.
