Honestly, I haven't work officially as a Care Companion, but I took care, in the house and the hospital, of my sick grandmother for six months, so I have the experience, but of course never got paid for that. My "responsibilities" were transported her to different locations as hospitals, meetings and to places to get distracted, as well take care of her main hygiene, clothing and alimentation.
And as Nanny, my experience was also based on taking care of my two cousins, 6 and 9 years old for four months, prepping some basic meals, helping with homework and recreating in the house.
