Hello.
My name is Dori and the first thing you'll want to know about me is that I love people! When referring specifically to aging or elderly, not only do I love them, but I have the upmost respect for them. Many times as folks age, and begin losing some of their autonomy, they can become downtrodden and feel they have no purpose anymore. I believe it is important to let them know that there is a lot they still have to offer! These precious people have life experience that others may not have had. They have plenty of stories and wisdom that can be imparted if we just take time to listen. Sometimes that is all they need to make them feel of some importance! I would be more than happy to be given that charge with your loved one.

I have also had experience working as a caregiver/companion care to a lovely lady with Alzheimer's. While it was a difficult thing to watch progress, it was an honor to help her through the last year or so that she was here.

If you give me the chance, I would love to care for your loved one, the same as I would care for one of my own.
