Hey there! My name is Catherine. I went to undergrad back in Texas and majored in sports medicine and now I am currently in graduate school for occupational therapy here in Tallahassee. I have a weekly class schedule but on the other days, I am very flexible. I love the healthcare field and find it very rewarding. One of the big parts of OT is facilitating and providing assistance to people with disorders, injuries, different diagnoses, as well as caring for people that show signs of age. This is how I found the field of caregiving. I have experience caregiving at an assisted living facility as well as in the memory care unit. I was able to provide assistance to individuals in order to help them live their daily lives. This included help with dressing, grooming, feeding, and simply being their companion. I love being very personal as well as providing care for others.
