I have had experience being a companion with elderly people, since I was 10years old and I'm now 35years old. My Great Grandmother moved down from New York, my mother was the main one in charge of her but when she had to work, I was the one in charge of helping her , which include; making her meals , helping her to the restroom, and watching TV with her. I have a lot of patience with the Elderly. Most of my family lives in South America and their ages consist of 70years old and older, when I visit I help them with errands , keep them company and watch t.v . and play board games with them. I just always grew up with elderly people around me and found them sweet, but sometimes very lonely. My mother is actually a CNA at a nursing home and she goes to their home. Watching my mom taking care of my Great Grandmother with such patience and joy, made me want to the same for others which need love and compassion!
