I was in college when I found out one of my 10 nieces/nephews had a learning deficiency from a less than ideal pregnancy. She was two when we realized she was a little slower to catch on than most kids. I immediately wanted to do all I could for kids similar to her. While at college, I volunteer every Friday night to assist with teens/adults playing special needs baseball. I found out very quickly that I loved assisting these people. I am currently a junior marketing major at Pensacola Christian college. However, I decided later in my college career that teaching is a serious love of mine.
