I'm an 18 year old college student attending Georgia Highlands in Cartersville. When I was 17 I was hired on by the daughter of a woman in a long term care facility to give companionship to and to help feed her mother with Parkinson's Disease. I continued to give her companionship until she passed, and I found that I greatly enjoyed spending time with my elders, and that there's much to learn from them. Since this opportunity ended for me, I have been looking for something similar, and this seems like the perfect chance. I would love to be able to spend time with this woman who has so much to teach me. I am CPR certified as well as first aid certified.
