Meet Makita – Compassionate & Experienced Caregiver

I love being a caregiver because caring for others is more than a job to me it’s an opportunity to make sure people feel seen, respected, safe, and not forgotten*. I believe every person deserves compassionate care that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the support they need.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) with experience providing hands-on care in nursing home, assisted living, memory care, and home care settings. My personal experience caring for a family member also helped deepen my passion for serving seniors and families.

My caregiving skills include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, and medication-related support within my scope of training . I am also BLS trained and understand the importance of safety, patience, communication, and observing changes in a client’s condition.

What families can expect from me is someone who brings compassion, professionalism, patience, dependability, and genuine care into their home. I don’t believe in treating someone like just another client. I believe in caring for the whole person and giving families peace of mind knowing their loved one is being treated with dignity.

My heart for caregiving is simple: No one should ever feel forgotten.
