I am a Certified Nurse Tech with 22 years in Nursing field. I have 2 years of full time substituting in Athens Clarke County schools. In my current position as a Nurse Tech, I visit clients in their homes and provide direct hands on one in one care with bathing, transferring from bed to wheelchair or bed to shower. I shop, cook and serve their meals based on their health conditions and food tolerance. I supervise the daily intake of medicine and insulin shots.
I also get to bond and make friends by engaging in activities that individual loves.
As a substitute teacher , I worked with other lead teachers in grade levels Pre-k to 5th grade. I did some fill in with special education classroom and isolated classrooms. My role allowed me lead in math and language curriculums and specials like Art and Stem. I would have to manage classrooms with 8 to 21 students. I was responsible for taking accurate attendance and providing structure and behavior management.
I am seeking a position with families who need a caregiver who would bring wholesome and a full filling learning and thriving environment into their already loving home. I am passionate about children. And children love me because I would like to think I give them 100% unfiltered love. I am a kindred and energetic individual who just want to add to children growing years.
