My experience as a care companion started when I was about 21 years of age. My experience and training started while working at the Florida state hospital and there I gain the hands on knowledge of helping clients with their (ADL's ) activities of daily living which includes, dressing,bathing,feeding, and grooming also, I gain experience with helping assist in daily chores such as sweeping, moping, kitchen cleaning and etc. After 4 years, I felt I needed to expand a little more and get better experiences with a wide range of different people who suffer minor disabilities to major so I began working with Rescare Inc. where I obtain my First Aid Certification and CPR certification also, I gain knowledge and experience with a wide range of clients whether they were bed bound or just needed little assistant also, I gain hands on experience working with clients with respiratory problems, early Alzheimer, and many other problems. I established a relationship with the clients where I assured them that they were safe and communicate efficiently with the client as well as develop an companionship. Although this may be just a little summary, I can assure you that I meet all necessary needs and have over the years grown more to love to take on the responsibility of helping others.
