I am a married mother of four grown children, including a dependent adult son with autism. I have years of customer service experience but I am looking for a job that allows me to make more of a positive difference in the lives of others. I worked for a short time in a nursing home years ago, and it broke my heart. I think our elderly should have the opportunity to live in the comfort of their home as long as possible.
I am as passionate about pets as I am about people. I currently own 3 dogs, a cat, nine society finches and a slew of chickens.
I'm an online student at Columbia Southern University and have earned my Associates Degree in General Studies and will graduate with my BS in Psychology in July, 2017. Because I am an online student, I attend classes at my convenience and it will not hamper my work availability.
I am also a Christian woman with strong morals, yet I am not a "Bible Beater" and do not force my ideas or opinions on others. I have excellent business and personal references.
Because I am aware that I won't be able to utilize my degree in the small town my family lives in, we are aware that we will eventually need to relocate, so anyone outside of Baxley need not hesitate if they are interested in meeting me with the possibility of hiring me. My husband can transfer anywhere in the country.
I am dependable, have a drivers license and transportation and a clean background, I'm available days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. I've declared a pay rate of $8.00 hourly, because I do not believe in taking advantage of people and assume most people will pay me what they can afford and believe I am worth.
I am a smoker who is trying to quit. I only smoke outside. Please, don't hold that against me. I was smoking years before I became a Christian.
