Charlene C. Care Companion in Buchanan, GA 30113

I am 68 years old and, have been in law enforcement for18 years. I am a booking officer for Douglas County Sheriff's Department. My mother had many illnesses that my siblings and I had to take care of for her. She had colon cancer surgery, and after the surgery was over, she had to wear a colostomy bag, we had to make sure it was cleaned daily. I would get her in the shower, change her clothes, fix her hair, and anything else that she needed. I would love to be a caregiver because I feel like so many are mistreated, and I would love to try and make a difference in their lives if possible. I am CPR certified, and I have four grown children, and 11 grandchildren. I have taken care of my grandmother, and also, my mother-in-law. I am patient, and I follow directions well. I worked for Phoenix Resources which assists families to make plans to see their children who are in DFAC'S custody. I would help find resources to achieve and/or maintain stabilization and maybe to become self-sufficiency. I would keep documents and updated patient's information. I have managed and/owned restaurants. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Shorter University. I also am a Post Certified Officer. My skills are, management, leadership, customer service, behavioral therapy, problem solving, critical thinking, and multi-tasking. I would love to have a position in any of the above fields.
