I love being a caregiver because I can make a direct impact on helping someone to have essential support. I like to assist my clients to maintain their dignity.comfort,and independence and ensuring a positive quality of life is deeply satisfying to my soul. My previous experience was working with Pinellas Care Systems. I worked with people with special needs, of all ages. I was employed with Pinellas Care Systems for 6 years.I developed practical skills from reminders for medications, assisting with daily tasks, bathing, meal prep, toileting, reporting significant personal growth through notes. I also helped the clients with dressing and grooming, housekeeping, laundry, folding the clothes, encouragement to do exercise or physical activities, and grocery shopping. While I was working with my special needs clients, I also worked with three elderly persons, helping out with the mentioned skills above. I worked with my clients building meaningful connections, and I had a true deep satisfaction of knowing I was making a true difference in their lives. I was with them until their last moments. At that point it is more than a job
I am CPR Certified by the American Red Cross, first aid classes, and HIPPA knowledge and clients rights. I also took traing courses with ADAP.
