Caregiving comes naturally to me. I'm a very empathetic and compassionate person. I've been working in home health for going on 8 years now. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have experience working with hospice, spinal cord injuries, dementia, alzheimer's, mental health disabilities, and elderly patients. I have been through nursing school as well, currently on a break before going back to finish. I know how to work with trach care, breathing treatments, medication management, non-mobile or bed bound patients, hoyer lifts, g-tubes, wound care, etc. I have had a large variety of patients with different care needs. I'm also able to cook and prep meals and do light cleaning up as well as just be a companion to talk and sit with. I enjoy helping and putting a smile on people's face and making things a little easier for the family.
