Hello! My Name is Salihah (Sa-La-ha) so you're not wondering how to pronounce it ;). I have over 14 plus years in healthcare, that varies from Cna, Med tech, behavior counselor, at risk young advocate, and working with children with mental disabilities. I am excited to offer my skills and knowledge to families as a sitter and or nanny.

What sets me apart as a caregiver is my natural compassion, patience, and empathy. Also being the oldest girl of 8 siblings taught me to manage, structure and survive at a young age. I understand that each person in my care is unique and requires individualized attention. My model of care is " Meet individuals where they are at, go below the surface to understand what that person needs and wants are". I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their comfort and well-being are taken care of.

Some of my greatest strengths is my ability to communicate effectively, display emotional intelligence with grace, and collaborate with others, including other caregivers and families. I know that good communication is the key to providing excellent care, and Id Make sure to maintain an open and honest communication with everyone involved.
