Hello,
I feel I'm the ideal candidate because I've overcome a disability in my life and I know that the measure of patience I had to accept from others was so valuable in helping my healing process. I know what it feels like to have to depend on others in order to accomplish daily activities and needs so, I have the heart and temperament that it requires in order to help someone else.

I lived in Georgia during the time of my disability and I moved to Utah to recover from poisonous mold exposure. I have recently returned after living there for 7 years and I'm looking for some light work and a Care Companion position would be ideal for me.

While I became temporarily disabled, one of the greatest experiences that was vital to my healing process, was caring for others with permanent disabilities.

I worked as a Supported Living and Employment Specialist. As a Support Living Specialist, I helped people with disabilities live more independent lives by helping them to manage their homes and everyday living requirements. I also worked to help them find jobs that they could do in the community. I will treasure this part of my life forever!
