My name is Desiree, and I have dedicated the last nine years of my life to the field of caregiving. My journey began when I took on the responsibility of caring for my grandmother, who was diagnosed with diabetes. Although she was called home in 2011, the experience deepened my passion for providing compassionate care. I began caring for my baby girl, who bravely battled leukemia. I am grateful to say this journey has further fueled my desire to assist and care for others in need. Every experience has shaped my skills and enhanced my ability to provide the best care possible. As a private PCA/caregiver, I possess a wealth of experience and training in various areas, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s care, as well as essential daily activities such as meal preparation, dressing, and showering. What I love most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
