Having trained at Emory University Hospital’s Budd Terrace at Wesley Woods followed by employment at Northside Hospital, and complete training in the United States Navy at James A. Lovell Federal Care Center, as part of my nursing career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with diverse group of patients. This experience has assisted me in understanding the demands of this job and how to go about achieving success in this position. My skills in nurturing and organizing along with some experience in providing personal care to children are plus points that I am banking on to continue my career in this regard.
I possess strong comprehension of medical terminology and basic medical procedures such as taking vitals and assisting patients with daily personal chores that they may have trouble performing themselves. My inherent people skills assist me in boosting patient’s morals and to maintain their dignity even in times of physical distress.
