Hello, my name is Lisa Bosworth. I am 63 years old and am blessed with 2 grown sons and 5 grandchildren ages 6, two 10 years old, 13 and 14.

I began caring for the disabled and elderly at the age of 17 years old. I had on the job training and CNA Certification from Lilburn Healthcare Center located in Lilburn, Georgia in 1978. In 2006 I obtained recertification from Saad Healthcare. I have worked in nursing homes and assisted living, private duty, and as a live-in aide. During the last 2 years of my parents life I cared for both of my parents. My father had bone cancer and my mother had dementia.

Housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, errands, Dr. appointments, bathing, hygiene, ambulation, and administering medications are services I provide.

I love seniors. Not having the freedom they had in earlier years is frightening to many. They have earned and deserve compassionate, patient, gentle care while being respectful of maintaining their dignity. It is a difficult, humbling adjustment for most elderly and their families transitioning to the point of needing assistance in everyday activities at the latter stages of life. There are those who accept and adjust well. Then those who either have no family, have been abandoned by family or have minimal visits leaving them very lonely, sad and forgotten.

I have always had great compassion for them and enjoy the amazing stories and experiences some are able to share.
It is so rewarding to bring a smile to their face and to know I have brightened their day making a positive difference in their life.
