As I stated above, my very best friend is an active 96-year-old lady who shares her experiences with me and is my favorite person to hang with. I find that most older people relate to me that way, mainly because there is no talking down to them and that sort of thing. I enjoy their company and hearing of their life experiences.
For respite care or getting your charge out for a little shopping or just a drive, all of these are things I already enjoy and can offer with the bonus of a background in hospital work and medical background.
