Amanda’s Bio
I grew up taking care of my father. He had several health issues, including post-polio syndrome and diabetes. I also helped him when he developed Alzheimer's. When my mother had a heart attack, I nursed her: counted out her pills, managed her doctor appointments, and worked with her on at-home PT and OT. I have also cared for many nieces and nephews at every development stage, from newborn to teenager.
I'm very detail-oriented and love being helpful.
Most of my professional work experience is administrative but I'm currently in school for an English degree so I can teach. My mother jokes I can talk to anyone, that I never meet a stranger, and I am versed in pop culture from Cocomelon to The Drifters.
