Hello! I'm Tanya. I have 7 years of active duty Air Force experience so I'm great in a crisis, but before that I was a Red Cross certified babysitter all through middle and high school. I still have first aid and CPR/AED training through the military and genuinely enjoy keeping people of all ages company. I also helped raise my best friends' son (now 3) and she has agreed to act as a reference if needed. I consider myself a crafting wizard and don't believe in sitting kids in front of a TV to keep them entertained. I also have 2 cats and love every form of pet except birds, so I'd be happy to look after your pets as well.

I'm a bit quirky which I just consider it part of my imaginative personality, which has made me a hit with kids. However I both expect and give respect, so I am not a good choice for children who haven't learned their manners. Most kids understand that when they are on my good side I can be a super fun crazy aunt who is always up for adventure, but my bad side means quiet rooms with no electronics and deactivated Wi-Fi, which means they want to stay on my good side :) As a care companion I love to both tell and listen to stories and enjoy all manner of past-times, though I'm not a huge fan of television.
