I'm an experienced caregiver with a focus on developmentally disabled individuals. I spent two years working in a school exclusively for high support needs DD students up to age 21, which included learning how to safely diffuse situations and inhibit dangerous behaviors, as well as multiple nannying positions with Autistic children. I'm also familiar with some common medical complications, such as feeding tubes. Myself, my husband, and my daughter are all diagnosed as Autistic, and I think it gives me a unique level of understanding of what high support need individuals experience on a daily basis.
