I cared for my father while he was battling leukemia and have also sat with an elderly lady who just needed a friend . I helped her cook small meals , play games and just talk. Hearing the stories they tell are always precious to me . I also have worked with children as I was a head start teacher for 5 years until I gave birth to my son. For the past 3 years we have ran the hope house and fostered over 50 children . My love of children and the elderly make me the perfect candidate for the job .
