My name is Alyxis Cox and I have been a Caregiver/CNA for 6 years . My great grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2008 while I was in high school and after class I would assist my grandmother with care for her. In 2010 when she passed I made up my mind that I would help others the same way I helped her with the incurable disease. Every time I step foot into a clients home , hospital room or nursing facility I can feel her presence with me. I know she is proud of me ! This type of work makes you patient , kind , loving and dedicated to what you do. I also have experience working with Cancer patients , Dementia , Dialysis, etc clients as well.
