I have always had the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of people who need help. To make a meaningful connection and let them keep their dignity. I realized my passion for caregiving while taking care of my husband with brain cancer for 8 years. After his passing in 2012 I got my CNA certification and worked as in home caregiver. I also worked in an Alzheimer’s unit for a while until my mom got sick and moved in with me. I cared for her and worked with her hospice in my home until her passing.
