I have always been a caregiver, in some form. I love it because I love people and being able to provide service.
I have extensive service experience as a nursing assistant on a skilled nursing unit, a live-in companion, a home-health aide, and driver for seniors and those with disabilities. I have provided full-time care for both my mother and husband during major illnesses and surgical recoveries. I also did extensive child-care in homes, day-care facilities, and worked as a nanny for 2 years.
I am newly retired from a public health career and my twins just completed their first year of college. I am looking for a meaningful next chapter.
