Hi! My name is Lynne, and I’m looking to provide private senior care and companionship in the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas.

I have personal, hands-on caregiving experience from being the sole caregiver for two of my grandparents and one of my great-grandparents. I also have experience working in a nursing home and am CPR/AED and First Responder certified.

I’m comfortable helping with companionship, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, bathing and dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, medication reminders, errands, grocery shopping, transportation to appointments, outings, pet care, light yard work, and other everyday needs.

I have a reliable, insured SUV and am willing to travel to Bondurant, Altoona, Pleasant Hill, Ankeny, Des Moines, Johnston, Urbandale, Clive, West Des Moines, Waukee, and surrounding communities.

My rate is $40/hour, and I’m open to part-time or full-time care depending on the schedule and needs.

My caregiving experience has primarily been with my own family, so I do not have professional caregiving references. I’m very open to meeting with you and your family beforehand, answering questions, and making sure everyone feels comfortable.

Most importantly, I’m hoping to find a genuine connection with someone where we can both look forward to our time together. Whether that means helping with everyday tasks, getting out of the house, sharing a meal, running errands, or simply having someone there to talk to, I want the person I care for to feel respected, comfortable, and supported while maintaining as much independence as possible.
