Victoria’s Bio

Hello! My name is Victoria, I'm 24 years old and I've grown up in Iowa my entire life. I have my associates in Liberal Arts and plan to continue my education with a career path in Behavioral Science.

I am a lover of life. I enjoy going on walks and going to poetry readings downtown. I spend most of my free time with family or outdoors with my close friends. I don't drink or smoke, I have a car and I am CPR and First Aid certified.

Most of my care experience has been with intellectually disabled, ranging in age from 14 to late 80's. I have worked doing direct cares for many years. This includes: housekeeping, grocery shopping, distributing medications on time, bathing and grooming and meal preparation.

Currently, I work as a recreational aide. I plan most of my activities for the clients that I work with. Whether it's taking a walk at the park, putting together a puzzle, making cookies or going to the movies- we're always having a blast! I love being creative and figuring out new activities and outings for people to participate in.
