I have been teaching youth and young adults for over 30 years. My primarily focus for the past 14 1/2 years has been those with challenges.

My primary goal with those I assist/mentor is to get them to realize their potential, gain independence skills and enjoy all that life has to offer.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education/Development with a specialization in Special education. I am retired from U.S government service with over 23 years duty throughout the United States and Europe.

I volunteer with The Wounded Warrior Project, America's Promise, ACS, The Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House Charities and U.S Adaptive Sports. I also volunteer as an Activities Assistant a Senior Centres and LTCFs

I actively participate in Wheelchair Fencing, Sled Hockey, Tennis and Basketball. I have over 16 years experience as an Activities Assistant at Youth and Senior Centres, LTCFs and the Library systems for the US Army, Air Force, the cities of Killeen, Austin, San Antonio TX and Williamsburg IA.
