What makes me a good caregiver/ companion is my understanding, caring, compassion, honesty, integrity, reliability, and never afraid of work.
I have served in this role many times in my working life. Most recently, I provided care to my elderly Dad, who has since passed.
I also provided private care to an elderly woman on the weekends as well as after working 8 hour days at another job.
Another thing that makes me really good at this job is that I feel the elderly someone's life, I have accomplished a great deal. I am a former EMT, and knowledgeable in geriatric health concerns.
